Hilliar Engineering Services opened its doors in Glen Anil in January 1999. 
The business started doing small site jobs for the construction industry, fabricating
and installing beams and staircases. Over time, as our experience grew,
we were able to take on larger projects.

We have invested in machinery which has changed the scope of work we are able to do.
Now, with 15 years experience, we continue to service the construction industry in various ways.

ABOUT RICHARD HILLIAR
Richard completed his BSC in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Natal in 1985. He worked for 3 years at UEC 
and then spent the next 6 years traveling the world. Richard returned to South Africa in 1998 and HES began.

Richard has had a passion for engineering for as long as he can remember.  Richard has an excellent ability to simplify the
design of items and streamline the fabrication of projects, saving clients time and money in the process.
